THE BEACH IS CALLING……
District Conference is April 20-23, 2006 at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort at Grand Dunes.  Anyone interested in going needs to let Margaret know.  Registration deadline is February 20, 2006. 
 

PROGRAM FEATURES............

February 2 – Dr. Stephen Feldman brought us an informative talk today.  Dr. Feldman has started a website where patients can go and rate their doctors. The site is called Dr. Score.  Dr. Feldman believes that this feedback can help in improving medical care.  Excellence is good medicine.  He believes if doctors know how patients feel they will try to improve their services.  A patient can go online anonymously and rate different aspects of their doctors practice, i.e. waiting time, office staff, and doctor patient interaction.  The more hits on a doctor’s site will give a better rating.  If you are moving, the website can also be used to find a doctor in another city.  This information will relate patient satisfaction and help in choosing a new doctor.  Thank you Dr. Feldman for a great program.   

February 9 – Today was another great program.  We said Happy Valentine to our spouses and guests with roses, chocolate, and a fashion show.  Thanks to Loy McGill for lining up models to show the latest Juliana fashions.  Kathy Acton provided roses for all the ladies today and chocolate hearts on the table.  It was a very delightful day.
