IT’S ALMOST GRADUATION TIME………The bookbags are ready and will be presented on June 9. Thanks to everyone who brought supplies to fill the bags.

STRATFORD ROTARY DID IT!!!!!!!……THANKS TO EVERYONE’S SUPPORT, DONATIONS AND WILLINGNESS TO ALLOW THEIR POINTS TO BE TRANSFERRED TO OTHER MEMBERS, WE HAVE SUCCEDED IN BECOMING A 100% PAUL HARRIS CLUB. THIS IS QUITE AN HONOR, BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THE MONEY WE SENT TO THE ROTARY FOUNDATION. HALF OF THAT MONEY COMES BACK TO OUR OWN DISTRICT 7690 TO SUPPORT LOCAL NEEDS AND PROJECTS. THE REST STAYS WITH THE FOUNDATION TO BE USED FOR ABASSADORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS AND WORLDWIDE NEEDS SUCH AS STOPPING POLIO, FEEDING THE STARVING CHILDREN AND PROVIDING CLEAN WATER. YOUR DONATIONS WERE NOT ASKED FOR TO SUPERFICIALLY MAKE US A 100% CLUB AND PAT US ON THE BACK. ROTARY INTERNATIONAL ASKED THAT ALL CLUBS STRIVE TO BECOME 100% BY 2007 TO HELP AID THESE PROJECTS BUT IT WAS OUR GOAL TO COMPLETE IT THIS YEAR AND WE DID!

ABOUT OUR MEMBERS.
