PROGRAM FEATURES............
June 22 – Today we had a very fascinating program. Kay Rule, Susan Gray’s sister, gave a dramatic presentation on Coco Chanel. Ms. Rule was Coco Chanel in dress, voice and action. She led us through her rather interesting and lurid life. You had to be there!
June 29 – Jim DeCristo, Director of Economic Development and External Affairs, NCSA and Dr. Randy Mills, WSSU were our speakers today. Mr. DeCristo and Dr. Mills spoke about the new Center for Design Innovation that is being developed as a joint venture between the NCSA, WSSU, and FTCC. Mr. DeCristo is spearheading this project. Together they walked us through this project. Design affects all areas of productivity. The success of the future is defined by design.

July 5, 2006:
It is with great sadness that I inform Stratford Rotary of the death of our member Jim Hewett. Jim passed away Sunday, July 2, 2006. I only found this out late today and the service was today. Jim joined Stratford Rotary in January 1986 and was a faithful member. In past years he served on the Board, was Program Chairman, Membership Chairman, and presented the Orientation program to new members. Sadly, Jim’s health had been failing for some time but no one knew it until the last couple of months. Jim loved Rotary and will be greatly missed.
